ChannelGlow is a read-only iPhone and iPad dashboard for public and private sensor channels hosted on ThingSpeak.

Email contact@iphonotype.com. Include your ChannelGlow version, iOS or iPadOS version, device model, whether the channel is public or private, what you expected, and the steps that reproduce the issue. Never email a Read API Key.
Getting started
- Open Channels and choose Add Channel.
- Enter the numeric Channel ID and select Public or Private.
- For a private channel, enter only its channel-level Read API Key.
- Use Test Connection, then save the profile.
You can explore the interface without an account or credential by enabling Demo mode in Channels.
Common questions
- Access denied: confirm the Channel ID, channel visibility, and channel-level Read API Key. Do not enter a password, user API key, or write key.
- Values are marked cached: ChannelGlow is showing the last successful bounded response because a current request did not complete. The capture time remains visible.
- A chart has gaps: blank, malformed, or non-numeric values are not invented or connected across missing observations.
- A field has no chart: open Raw data to inspect text and other non-numeric field values.
- Refresh is limited: ThingSpeak service limits and caching can affect how quickly a feed changes.
- Removing a channel: this removes the local profile, cache, settings, and Keychain item only; it does not change the source channel.
Compatibility
ChannelGlow requires iOS or iPadOS 17 or later. It reads fields exposed through the ThingSpeak channel feed API and supports up to the service's eight declared channel fields.
Privacy and service relationship
ChannelGlow has no publisher account, ads, analytics, or tracking. Requests go directly to the ThingSpeak service. Read the ChannelGlow privacy policy.
